Soldiers complain and get shitcanned. This is one of the first things you learn when you hit boot camp. Never go on the record about anything. I realize that the loony left doesnt realize why the dept of defense would fire these troops, but then again they dont understand anything that happens with the military. I view it as if you worked for Coke and a reporter caught you coming out of the bottling plant drinking a pepsi. They then came up and asked you your name and if you liked pepsi better than coke. You said, John smith and yes pepsi is much better than coke, I wish we could make coke taste like pepsi. The next day John smith wouldnt have a job because if he doesnt like making coke then he shouldnt be working there. Same thing applies. The Whitehouse, Dept Def., or anyone in the military didnt cost these soldiers their jobs, the media did. They know what happens to troops who criticize their COC, but they dont care about the soldiers, just the sound byte proving their liberal point.
