Poor little Muslim terrorist
Here are some AP quotes about this poor little LA terrorist.
"Why he did that is what we are still trying to determine," FBI special agent Richard Garcia said

I love this... the FBI still doesnt recognize that Muslims are following their fanatical religion that orders them to convert by persuasion or by force (both are equal).

The shooting could have been a random act of violence or a hate crime, Garcia said. He said authorities also had not ruled out a number of potential motives, including terrorism, though Hadayet, 41, was not on any FBI or federal aviation "watch" lists.

This one is great too... You're not a terrorist unless you are on the "list". It's not an act of violence or a 'hate' crime. Its first degree murder.

The FBI said it wasn't clear whether he acted alone or why he had drivers' licenses with two last names — Hadayet and Ali.

Ummm... hello? FBI? I guess they havnt found out why the terrorists who hijacked the planes on 9/11 had different I.D.'s too.

"He is a very, very tender person and close to his family," Mahfouz said in Cairo. He confirmed that Thursday was his nephew's birthday.

Isnt that what Atta's father said about him too? I guess they are in Denial... and yep its a river in where????

Neighbors said Hadayet was quiet, but became angry when an upstairs neighbor hung large American and Marine Corps flags from a balcony above his front door after the Sept. 11 attacks.

Of course when all else fails... blame the patriotic Americans for this... hmmm he's in america and is offended by our flags???

Kobi Metzler, 44, who lives near Hadayet, said his 16-year-old daughter recently asked Hadayet about using his limo service to go to her prom.
"She came home and said 'Dad, this guy is so cool,'" Metzler said, adding that Hadayet offered his daughter a low price.

And this belongs in the article because??? Yes... if I was a father... I would think it was cool too if a terrorist who had his limo license revoked because he didnt carry insurance while taking my daughter to prom. That's ok because he gave her a good rate. He must be innocent right?

Ticket agent Victoria Hen, 25, and Yaakov Aminov, 46, a jeweler and father of eight who was dropping off a friend, were fatally shot in the attack.
Hen, who was born in Israel, moved to this country in 1990 and planned to marry soon. She started work for El Al about a month ago, family friend Joe Knoller said.
"Her main job was to actually smile at people, to actually make them feel comfortable when they come up to the line, and she definitely did that," he said.
Aminov, who had taken a friend to the airport, emigrated from Israel 13 years ago. A devout Orthodox Jew, he often could be found at the Yad Avraham Temple in North Hollywood, helping with donations and temple renewal projects.
"He loved people," said Aminov's brother-in-law, Mark Ezerzer. "He loved everyone."

Notice that Aminov had 8 kids and one in the oven. Notice there is no quote from his widowed wife? What about the 8 kids? No quote from them? What about Ms. Hen's fiancee? Just 6 sentenences about the people who's lifes were snuffed out. Yeah this terrorist was quiet and tender... just tell that to the 9 kids and wife and fiancee and other family members who will never see their loved one again. Tender my ass.

July 4th 1776
This morning I was listening to one of those dorky morning radio shows my wife likes listening to when they started talking about the most patriotic place they have been. Of course they rattled off every place in Washington D.C. and Philly, etc... So it got me thinking. Where was I when I felt most patriotic? Here's my list.

1. In boot camp (on 1-5 day I think). There is this day that I think all naval recruits go through. The company commanders come in and work your asses into the ground. It's meant to teach you team work and attention to detail and to get you to seeing that this is for real. We did things like team situps where you get in a line of 50 locking arms and have to do situps saying "TEAMWORK!" down "MOTIVATION". At the end of the day you are so drenched with sweat and exhausted. Then bring you into a circle and tell you how you must remain a team and that at any given time we could be in an emergency and need eachother. Then they put on "I'm proud to be an American" by Lee Greenwood and pass around a pretty big flag and it just goes around the room and we all just overflowed with pride. Most of us couldnt control our feelings and just bawled.

2. Sydney Australia. Our aircraft carrier and battle group were there for the 50th anniversary of the Battle of the Coral Sea. This was the fight that kept the Japs from taking Australia. At least that's what I was told. As we docked and went on liberty we were shocked to see tens of thousands of people there waving American flags, everyone there just to see US! Needless to say the girls on liberty there were hot and over 500 thousand people visited the ship. It was wierd, but a lot of guys from WWII came and just hung out around the fence to the dock. The stories these guys told reminded me of my PawPaw's since he was in the same battles out in the Pacific. Why patriotic? Because these guys were genuinely thankful for our nation saving their's.

3. First United Methodist Church after Sept 11th. I'm Presbyterian, but we had a joint service that Wednesday. I've sung this song a million times, but after 9/11 the words hit close to home. Here's the song:

A mighty fortress is our God, a bulwark never failing;
Our helper He, amid the flood of mortal ills prevailing:
For still our ancient foe doth seek to work us woe;
His craft and power are great, and, armed with cruel hate,
On earth is not his equal.

Did we in our strength confide, our striving would be losing;
Were not the right Man on our side, the Man of God’s own choosing:
Dost ask who that may be? Christ Jesus, it is He;
Lord Sabaoth, His Name, from age to age the same,
And He must win the battle.

And though this world, with devils filled, should threaten to undo us,
We will not fear, for God hath willed His truth to triumph through us:
The Prince of Darkness grim, we tremble not for him;
His rage we can endure, for lo, his doom is sure,
One little word shall fell him.

That word above all earthly powers, no thanks to them, abideth;
The Spirit and the gifts are ours through Him Who with us sideth:
Let goods and kindred go, this mortal life also;
The body they may kill: God’s truth abideth still,
His kingdom is forever.

Happy 4th of July everyone! We've all earned it, so enjoy it.

More on the ICC
Got an email from Josh Claybourn today linking me to his article on the ICC. I sure hope we've got a Republican President in office when they start to try to capture one of our "war criminals". I think I remember Bush saying something like we wont sign on AND we will protect one of ours if that kangaroo court tries anything with an American. I'm too lazy to look it up, but that's how I remembered it anyway. Click the link below to see Josh's article.The Hoosier Review

International Court?
Uss Clueless gives a great editorial on why the U.S. will never ever go along with this international court. To sum it all up... our govt. doesnt have the power to go along with it because we (the people) have never given it to them. Its a super read and really does wake you up as far as how great our founding fathers were. Check it out.

I hate to see ya go J.C.
But like Ann Coulter says in her book. It must be hard to have that damn big target on your black ass. Targeted for being the worse thing you can ever be.... a black Republican! That's right... us Democrats love you minorities...AS LONG AS YOU VOTE FOR US! If you dont then you're fair game to be called a lawn jockey or some other Racist name from white Liberals... but that's ok because they are liberals they get a pass. J.C. is a strong minded man who told it like it was. Unfortunately the big boy Republicans used him for his color, but never saw the MAN and straight forward direction. But if you arent a lifetime polition you'll never make it up there because you dont fit in with all the ones who have never had anything but a govt job.

Adoption
After 2 years of infertility treatment, my wife and I have decided on adoption. Now we have to decide on domestic or international adoption. And if we choose international, which country. Then it's choosing an agency... I'm hung up on the money. EVERY adoption runs about $20,000-$25,000 which is a lump to swallow. What is even worse than that is noone outside the adoption community knows this! These agencies are supposed to be non-profit but they are getting like $7,000 an adoption. Figure this... if they do 250 a year thats 1 3/4 million dollars! They may be non-profit, but they must be like the red cross paying 300 grand a year to people. So... While wanting very much to adopt, I still find it hard to just fork over so much money to pay these fatcats just because everyone else does. I find it openly deplorable the way they are selling babies. And then it still takes 1-1 1/2 yrs to get your baby! Yes, I know its worth it, but being part of the instant gratification crowd... I want it when I pay for it, damnit! So if any of you youngin's out there screw up and end up pregnant.... dont kill it... just give it to me and save both of us the heartache!
